Exhibitor FAQ

Q: Accomodation

A: Our travel partner Ozaccom can provide you with booking options for your flights and accommodation if required. 

Q: Audio-Visual

A: Exponet is our recommended supplier for all your audio-visual needs as well as the only licensed contractor to install power. To book click here

Q: ATM

A: An ATM is available between MCEC Exhibitions Doors 3 & 4. 

Q: Cafe & Catering

A: There will be food and beverage outlets at the rear of the halls inside PAX Australia. Exhibitors can book catering for their stand, get approval to sell food/beverages or get an account card for food/beverage purchases here.

Q: Cleaning

A: General cleaning of the venue will take place at the end of each day. This does not include stands. Exhibitors are responsible for the cleaning of their own stands and can book here.

Q: Cloakroom

A: There will be a cloakroom service located behind the customer service desk, next to badge pick up. 

Q: Customer Service

A: For assistance during the event, visit the Information Booth located near the event entry.

Q: Deliveries

A: Deliveries can only be made to site between the applicable move-in hours for your stand. Please see the Deliveries & Logistics section of the manual for further details. You can access a printable delivery label below:

Q: Electrical / Power / Testing and Tagging

A: All electrical equipment must be tested and tagged before use. Power is included Shell Scheme stands only (1x 4amp per stand). Power and tagging can be arranged by Exponet. Book here

Q: First Aid

A: PAX Australia and the venue have first aid services. Please contact the nearest staff member or visit the Information Booth near the event entry if you need assistance.

Q: Furniture

A: Exponet is the supplier of all event furniture. No package includes furniture, though furniture can be booked from the ExpoConnect portal.

Q: Internet Access

A: The venue offers a range of internet services to exhibitors. If you require a hard line or wireless connection please book from the venue here, or bring your own pre-paid internet dongle if you require steady access to internet. 

Q: Lotteries & Promotions

A: No sale by auction, lottery, raffle, guessing game, game of chance, trade promotion or other competition may be conducted by an exhibitor at the event without the prior consent of PAX Australia. If any such activity is permitted, then the exhibitor is responsible for ensuring they meet any state government requirements for that activity including permits.

Q: Marketing

A: PAX Australia has a number of marketing opportunities to promote your attendance at the event. Included in your package is a listing on the mobile app and printing of your name in our show guide. Both must be completed by the due date to be included with the correct name.

Additionally, sponsorship, advertising and cross-promotional opportunities are available. Please contact your account manager for further information.

Q: Parking

A: Parking is available below the venue and in surrounding car parks at standard rates. There is no discount for exhibitors at any time.

Q: Signage

A: Shell Scheme stands include name signs to be placed on the exterior sides of their stands, either in a metal fascia rail or on their walls. Exhibitors must access the Exponet portal to enter the name to be printed on these signs by the deadline or risk incorrect information being printed.

Exhibitors who do not have signage included (Space Only) can order signage by contacting Exponet at [email protected].

Q: Staff Passes / Wristbands

A: Exhibitors are entitled to the following number of passes for their staff based on the size of their stand:

Q: Stand Build

A: There are strict rules regarding what is included in each stand and what can be added or subtracted to it. This includes dimensions of items, types or materials, items used for adhesion etc. To see what is included in your stand and what can be done, please visit the Your Stand section in the manual. 

Q: Storage

A: Storage will not be available onsite in the Exhibition Halls. Limited storage may be available in the loading lock and offsite storage can be arranged. Please contact GEl through the operations page to request storage.

Q: Security

A: PAX Australia will provide security during the event, however exhibitors are advised to take individual responsibility for their stand security and personal items.
